Start
Start is at Fonte Nuova in Pian d'Ovile in the city center of Siena, within easy walking distance from the Conference Venue. It is organized a visit to the underground aqueducts (bottini) excavated in the Pliocene succession on which the city of Siena rests. The visit lasts approximately 30 minutes and will be organised in groups of 15 people. Based on the number of participants, times for the start of the visits will be announced.
